BROOKLYN, NEW YORK — Behind an unassuming door at 28 Locust Street, NOT FOR THEM has opened a new cultural space shaped by artist and creative director Marcarson.

It is not quite a gallery, store, studio, or private club—but contains elements of each.

The space will host exhibitions, intimate dinners, cultural gatherings, collaborations, limited works, and encounters that may not be announced in advance. Artists, collectors, designers, brands, and others with something interesting to bring into the room are invited to find their way inside.

A small shop presents original artwork, limited objects, and apparel from NOT FOR THEM. A selection is also available at notforthemnyc.com.

What happens next will take form through the people who enter.

NOT FOR THEM is open Tuesday through Saturday, from 11 AM to 7 PM, by appointment.
