Marcarson presents Rascal, a solo pop-up exhibition curated by Wilhelmina von Blumenthal. Installed across two floors on the Bowery, just steps from the New Museum, the exhibition transforms a site of casual congregation into a stage for Marcarson’s sharp, irreverent, and socially attuned practice which draws from the lineage of assemblage and the ready-made, echoing the irreverent spirit of Arte Povera while offering a subtle clin d’oeil to the Duchampian and Piero Manzoni lineage, the work remains distinctly grounded in lived experience and the culture of the studio.
