Marcus J. Guillory

Marcus J. Guillory is a writer/producer for film and tv based in Los Angeles. Credits include Law & Order: Organized Crime, Empire, Marvel’s Cloak and Dagger, Gully, among others. He’s a 2016 Sundance Writers Lab alum and a 2017 PEN/Faulkner Reading Series lecturer.  His critically-acclaimed debut novel “Red Now and Laters” (Atria/Simon & Schuster) received a starred Kirkus Review and short-listed for the 2014 Ernest Gaines Award. The LA-based Houston native received a BA from University of Pennsylvania and a JD from Tulane Law School.
