From the press release:

On April 23rd, New York-based artist and founder of Bubby’s, Ron Silver, and Barcelona-based Colombian artist Juliana Plexxo presented “NYC Meets Barcelona”, an exclusive art exhibition that bridges two cities through a shared creative language.

Hosted at Silver’s private studio in Manhattan, the show explored Silver’s expressive take on New York City’s cultural energy and Plexxo’s powerful series “Real Gold”, inspired by indigenous cosmovisions and sacred connections to the Earth.

Ron and Juliana first connected after she invited him to Studio 46 in Barcelona—her creative space and former home of the legendary printmaking atelier where Joan MiróSalvador Dalí, and Richard Hamilton created their works under the guidance of master printmaker Joan Barbarà. That meeting marked the beginning of a shared artistic dialogue rooted in admiration for the 20th-century masters and the cultural bridge between NYC and Barcelona. Today, Juliana continues the legacy of Studio 46 through her global exhibitions and public murals, bringing its spirit to a new generation.

This was an invite-only gathering of curators, collectors, and friends to witness two unique visions converge in one intimate space.
