Body Positivity – Gender Euphoria, our juried exhibition celebrates liberation from restrictive stereotypes or identity, and the joy of embodiment.

Racquel Chevremont, the well known art collector, curator and top model, curated the show. 

Part I opens October 1, 2025, at 6pm and remains on view through Nov 30. It will be up during three performances of MADAM, a daring new opera by Killer Queen Opera that reclaims the story of Polly Adler—an immigrant, madam, and cultural force of 1920s New York.

This exhibition seeks to uplift the voices and visions of NYC artists who challenge norms and affirm identity—particularly LGBTQ+ artists, women, people with diverse bodies, and BIPOC creatives.

The first part of the exhibition brings together an extraordinary group of artists: German Vazquez, Sophia Sanders, Ruben Natal San Miguel, Noah Bassman, and Roxane Revon. These five artists embody the show’s themes of selfhood, liberation, and the joy of embodiment, offering bold and deeply personal visions of queer identity.

 

 

  • Ruben Natal San Miguel, a celebrated photographer, captures the vibrancy and dignity of marginalized communities, with work in major collections worldwide.

  • German Vazquez brings his mastery of photography inspired often by paintings to narratives of beauty, body, and resilience, his pieces held in numerous public and private collections.

  • Sophia Sanders, known for her dynamic and emotionally charged work, contributes striking reflections on gender and self-expression.

  • Noah Bassman, an emerging painter of remarkable sensitivity, offers poetic and imaginative depictions of queer love and intimacy.

  • Roxane Revon, a French-born, New York–based artist and stage director, brings her interdisciplinary practice of painting, installation, and performance, creating immersive explorations of embodiment and
