the two latest publications from documenta 12

we would like to bring to your attention that the two latest publications from documenta 12 magazines are now available to the public:

The documenta 12 Magazine No 1-3, 2007, Reader is now available in bookstores,
the documenta 12 Magazine Online Journal can be accessed under http://magazines.documenta.de.

While the book form of the magazine is only able to present a selection of the texts published within the framework of the magazine project, the open format of the Online Journal contains all texts and is continually being updated with new contributions. These appear in English and the respective original language. In some cases a German translation is also provided. Interested readers can compile and print out their own magazine.
The Online Journal is a magazine of magazines, a newspaper of newspapers, a medium written through other media. Furthermore, it embodies a many-voiced, open and unfinished process of exchange, translation, debate and controversy, conducted in a series of transregional meetings - and in a virtual editorial office - between the editors and authors of the participating media.

The three issues of the documenta 12 Magazine "Modernity?", "Life!" and "Education:" are collected in the Reader, also published by TASCHEN. It is now available in bookstores as well as via the internet under www.documenta.de and www.taschen.com.

The individual magazines contributing to the project can be seen in the upper area of the documenta-Halle foyer. In the documenta archive, Untere Karlsstr. 4, there is a reading room for the study of the magazines.

Furthermore, the third single issue "Education:" is still available. The single issues "Modernity?" and "Life!" are out of print and wont be reissued.
