Cavalier Gallery will present the internationally known painter Guy Stanley Philoche’s new series, New York, I Still Love You.
Philoche made international headlines during Covid lockdown by supporting other artists and collecting their works.
The new series and exhibition is an homage to New York City and has elements of graffiti, landscape painting and abstraction. Fans of Philoche's work will recognize his style right away. These new works are a vivid continuation of Philoche's vision of New York City where he uses the texture, color and vibrancy of the city as materials for his art.
The gallery's press release states: "As New York bounces back from the tolls of the pandemic, Philoche reintroduces us to the inspiration he has found in the city that never sleeps in this innovative new body of work."
Cavalier is a New York Gallery, located at 3 West 57th Street, 4th Floor. The show runs from May 25th through June 8th with private preview of the exhibition is available by appointment on Tuesday, May 24th. WM
