A newer and fresher edition of The Photography Show 2025, The Association of International Photography Art Dealers (AIPAD) has just opened at The Park Avenue Armory - April 23-27.

During these current challenging times AIPAD is showing a very strong front with a lot of resilience and the photographs to push through.

This year the fair is far more improved by locating the photography book section in the same room as the gallery booths, providing a greater spatial sequential and visual continuity. You can see some of the photographs displayed on the walls and then displayed in book format a mere stone's throw away.

The fair itself felt smaller but, "Less is More" in terms of quality and content. After all, AIPAD is where the most classic traditional photography meets the best contemporary and "of the moment" works.

So… Let’s get on with some of the highlights!

At the Yancey Richardson Gallery booth you can find the most contemporary photography at the moment.

Ruben Natal-San Miguel from Whitehot Magazine gives it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Best Gallery Booth at AIPAD!

Everything in it felt fresh , new, daring and harmoniously well curated. Keep an eye for newcomer Taína Franco Klein! With wonderful self portraits in Mexican locations and landscapes. They are very cinematic and remind me a lot of the wonderful visuals, color pallettes and cinematography portrayed in the Emilia Perez movie.
