Although the 14th edition of the actual art fair was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic, Art Dubai has launched an online catalogue where we can still view and buy works.

Sifting through more than 500 artworks represented by 55 international exhibitors, ranging from Alia Ali and Hassan Hassaj’s staged photographic portraits in colorfully patterned fields and Jigger Cruz and Addis Gezehagn’s layered abstract canvases to Yaşam Şaşmazer and Hoda Tawakol’s use of such organic materials as fungi and rice in engaging figurative sculptures, we’ve selected a dozen pieces that would look great in any collector’s home.

Scroll through the images below to view our picks and check out the Art Dubai website for online programming, which will keep you both informed and entertained. WM
