We are pleased to announce our participation at this year’s Art Basel with a Statement by Gregor Hildebrandt.

For the Statement Gregor Hildebandt did an expansive installation that has developed gradually from his work, adding new aspects that have not been realized so far. The thematic point of departure is Claude Sautet’s film Les choses de la vie (1969) with Michel Piccoli and Romy Schneider. In the installation, Hildebrandt has isolated individual themes and pieces of music from the film in order to turn them in the translated context of the tape works into a narrative space of their own.
