Never been a fan of Bob Dylan, so I don't know any lyrics or his songs, but I do love Henri Matisse. Ron Arad's epic show is a homage to both of these artists. I was looking forward to the Snail piece inspired by Matisse's "The Snail".
I did get a chance to sit on one of the pieces and this made me think: if I was to buy Arad's works, would I let people sit on them? Is the purpose of these works utilitarian or in the Oscar Wilde sense "useless" like most art? WM
