Indie feature Dark Arc, a modern noir dark comedy which IFC news calls "a bizarre blend of art, sex and opium" will have it's Vancouver Premiere in a public screening at the Vancity Theatre (1181 Seymour Street at Davie) at 2:30pm on Saturday, November 17th. Tickets are $10 and will be available at the door. Directed by Dan Zukovic ("The Last Big Thing") and starring Sarah Strange ("Men In Trees", " White Noise"), Kurt Max Runte ("Kyle XY") and Dan Zukovic, Dark Arc has successfully played at film festivals throughout Canada and the US. (Including the Montreal World Film Festival, Cinequest, Calgary and Edmonton Int'l Film Festivals). Lead Actress Sarah Strange was nominated for a 2005 BC Film Industry "Leo Award" for Best Actress for Dark Arc. Film Threat gave the film a 5 star review, calling it "Absolutely brilliant...truly and completely different" and IFC News said it "plays like a candy-coloured version of David Lynch".
