Myth, Symbol, and Enigma
something along that line

March 16th — April 16th

Artists: David Richardson & Juan Lazaro

'Myth, Symbol, and Enigma: something along that line' is a group exhibition featuring the works of two talented artists. This exhibition explores the intersection of mythology, symbols, and enigma in the conceptual art world, challenging viewers to consider how abstraction can create a sense of mystery and intrigue. Abstraction allows us to step beyond the limitations of figurative art and embrace the beauty of the unknown. In this exhibition, we see each artist's individual styles and voices come to life through their exploration of this limitless medium. Whether you are an art aficionado or simply curious about the world around you, 'Myth, Symbol, and Enigma' is an exhibition not to be missed.

The exhibition features multiple works of art that showcase a range of styles and mediums. Each piece is a unique exploration of the exhibition's themes, offering viewers the opportunity to engage with abstract art in new and unexpected ways and styles. The artworks in this exhibition invite viewers to delve into the unknown and explore the hidden meanings and symbols that lie beneath the surface. The symbols and motifs that emerged from these different stories continue to resonate with us today, inspiring artists to explore new interpretations and reimaginations. Through abstraction and contemporary symbolism, the artists in 'Myth, Symbol, and Enigma' have created works that challenge our perceptions and encourage us to question our understanding of reality.

Some of the highlights of the exhibition include the abstraction expressed in the mix of the shotgun symbolism paintings series by David and the collection of vision on the bicycle by Juan. Besides that, the exhibition also includes artworks from other artists such as Angela China, Alysha Marko, and Michael Manning. All of these paintings showcase the versatility and range of abstract art. They created the connection and collision of abstract paintings and remind us that art can be both dynamic and calm, both bold and subtle. We hope that this exhibition inspires you to explore the endless possibilities of the abstract art form.

"We are thrilled to be showcasing such an exciting group of artists, who have created works that are both thought-provoking and visually stunning," said Alysha Marko, the gallery's director. "We hope that this exhibition will inspire our audience to see the world in a new light, and to embrace the mysteries, symbols, and enigmas that surround us."

'Myth, Symbol, and Enigma: something along that line' will be on view at AMRM Gallery starting from March 16th, 2023 to April 16th, 2023. The gallery is located at 13 E 69th Street, 5PH New York, NY 10021, and is open Tuesday–Sunday 11 am–6 pm. Admission to the exhibition is free.
