Dan Beachy-Quick

is a poet, essayist, and translator, author of the forthcoming How to Draw A Circle: On Reading and Writing, from the University of Michigan’s Poets and Poetry Series, and a reverie on Herman Melville’s Moby Dick, A Whaler’s Dictonary. His work has been supported by the Monfort, Lannan, & Guggenheim Foundations. He teaches at Colorado State University, where he is a University Distinguished Teaching Scholar.
