"The Best Art In The World"
By WM May 23, 2024
From the press release:
About 20 years before COVID-19, René Holm was famous for his thickly-layered oil paintings that he has showed at art fairs in New York, Miami, Denmark, Germany, Art Basel, and in museum exhibitions. During COVID-19, René felt a new joy and drive to go into the studio every day and was happy with a new, more transparent, lighter and "dry" painting. They were more like studies for paintings that René makes on mostly found papers. This year, René celebrates 25 years as a professional artist. He has, for two years, worked on a new, large monograph that just came out with the publisher Aftryk in Denmark and DCV that will also be available in the U.S. WM
Whitehot writes about the best art in the world - founded by artist Noah Becker in 2005.
