Hazel Lee Santino is a painter (as well as illustrator, sculptor, educator, arts administrator, sometimes curator, and learning-to-be-an-animator) born in New York City and raised on the Lost Coast. She received a B.F.A. and B.A. from The New School (2012) in Illustration and Literary Studies and is currently based in New York, working out of the Bronx. Santino has exhibited nationally and internationally, including Art 3 Gallery and Art During the Occupation Gallery (Brooklyn, NY); Blanc Compound (Mandalyuong, Philippines); Bullet Space, Mayson Gallery, and Nancy Margolis Gallery (New York, NY).
