Artists' talks are usually not that interesting to me. Artists often take themselves and their work too seriously and forget that it's just not entertaining to see that - but hearing Mark Bradford talk at Hauser & Wirth was the first time I wanted more. It was my first time (hopefully not the last) meeting Bradford and it was totally refreshing to see an artist with the work they are creating.

My favorite Bradford piece is definitely JOHNNY BUYS HOUSES - so good... WM
